In 2023, Timisoara is the European Capital of Culture 2023.

This year, starting with the opening weekend, 17th & 18th of February, life in Timisoara will change forever!
The city will dance in the rhythms of hundreds of events, lighting up the European values of this free & visionary city!

It is a unique moment that will carry on the cultural legacy of this amazing city through concerts, art exhibits, theatre performances, dance shows, music festivals and many other.
